Hi there! Let me introduce myself. My name is Jacqueline Alvarado. I have been a speech-language pathologist with a primary focus on adult neurogenic speech, language, and swallowing disorders for approximately 12 years. I have worked in a variety of settings to include state supported living centers, inpatient rehab, acute care, home health and outpatient. In 2019, I attended the Aphasia Institute in Toronto, Canada and founded the El Paso Aphasia Connection center, a non-profit providing free group speech therapy for adults with aphasia.
